Dr Margaret Haddow lives in a busy house: two vets (she and her husband), two kids, four dogs, one ancient cat, many birds, fish, tortoises…and a snake. She is an amazing baker (love the challenge of a teatime spread or a dessert trolley), an avid gardener (especially veggies), loves crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr Annerien de Villiers is married to a veterinarian and loves spending time in the outdoors with him. She is an active lady who regularly runs and hikes, As a vet, Dr Annerien enjoys soft tissue surgery and has a special interest in geriatric pet care. In her free time, Dr Annerien loves to draw and paint and write. She also enjoys writing informational articles on veterinary topics for pet owners.

Dr Sylvia Farmer is a proud ‘Namakwalander’ who has a passion for helping animals. It comes as no surprise hat her hero is Steve Irwin. She has a house full of pets: 3 cats, 1 Boston Terrier and an African Grey that she loves with all her heart. Dr Sylvia loves playing console games, watching crime documentaries and scrolling through Pinterest in her free time. She also loves to cook and explore other cultures through their culinary ‘art’.

Dr Henrië-Lois Pienaar, originally from Pretoria, loves working with big and small patients, but I also have a fascination and fondness for our more exotic ones…scales, feathers, fins, even the odd arachnid! She is always up for a new challenge – and this includes her new favourite past time, roller-skating.
