Dr Lauren Immelman has been a dedicated veterinarian for small animals since 2015. After graduating and completing a year of community service, she transitioned into private practice, where she honed her skills in general practice for dogs and cats. Dr Lauren is known for her approachable demeanour, and she prioritises educating pet owners, ensuring they feel confident in their ability to care for their furry companions. When Dr Lauren is not at the clinic, you can find her on the Ultimate Frisbee field. She loves the fast-paced, strategic nature of the sport, the strong sense of community it fosters and the fact that it is a great way to stay active and unwind after a busy day.

Dr Kasmira Athmaram hails from Richards Bay, but in 2024, she brought her passion for animal care and passion for surgery to Cape Town. She has a particular soft spot for bunnies and sausage dogs – a love that is beautifully mirrored at home with her own spoiled bunny, Dachshund, and cat. When she’s not tending to her furry patients, you can find Dr Kasmira exploring the stunning hiking trails around Cape Town or getting lost in the pages of an enchanting fantasy novel.
